RCD Board Vice-Chair, Belinda Farr

Belinda Farr is a Chicago native raised in the South Suburb of Markham. She attended Tinley Park High School and graduated in 1987. Belinda is the oldest of three children and mother of one. Belinda is a 1993 graduate of Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. She has been with Prevent Child Abuse Illinois since May of 2006 as a Prevention Specialist for Cook County. In this position she works with DCFS and Community organizations to promote the prevention of child abuse. She worked in the child welfare system as a case manager for Specialized, traditional, and medical children for over twelve years. Belinda enjoys family time and a relaxing evening at home with a good book.
