The Red Clay Dance Youth Ensemble (RCDYE) is an advanced opportunity for our 8th-12th grade School of Dance students. To prepare young dance Artivists for artistic excellence, RCDYE provides artistic mentorship and rigorous training in dance techniques of the African Diaspora and other classical forms. RCDYE builds community through authentic engagement, develops facilitators through strategic trainings and activities, and provides access to real world experiences based on the ensemble members track of study. Members of the ensemble leave feeling confident, technically sound, skilled in their ability to communicate, and are creative problem solvers.

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a current School of Dance student.

  • Must be in grades 8th–12th.
